About

As Neville Goddard, states “The end of yearning is to be,” so the end of wanting is to visualize and take action towards that desire. I love this quote because it is so empowering and simple. If there is something I want to be, a blogger or a world traveler for example, I just have to do it. For too long I spent time yearning. Now I won’t hesitate to realize what I desire. This blog will evolve over time, but to start it will showcase my travels around the word.

I am 32 (at time of blog launch, now 35), have lived in NYC since 2002. Before leaving on this journey I was Executive Producer  in digital advertising and a former life coach in training with The Handel Group. I resigned my position with Porter Novelli to pursue this dream of travel. I gave up my apartment, moved my furniture and belongings back to my parents place in D.C..

This blog was a way to keep my family and friends informed of where I was, allow people to live vicariously, and inspire people to go for their dreams.

Update: This blog is no longer updated, but I keep it up to inspire and inform. I hope in some small way this has encouraged people to reach for their dreams, whatever they may be. I currently reside in Brooklyn and have continued my digital production career. I am so grateful for the opportunity for this trip, and the memories I’ll have for the rest of my life.
